Trulia - Rent vs Buy debate
Trulia produce some really nice interactive insights, and their most recent one doesn’t fail to impress.
It is the Buy vs Rent debate over the past 8 months in the US and shows exactly how much things have changed with the recent recession.
We need something like this for the UK, and the only guys who seem to come close are those at The Guardian.

Digital Life: Today & Tomorrow, 15 Internet Predictions for 2015
Nice video about internet preditions in the coming years.
It’s interesting to see the growth of mobile devices and smartphones, and also a predition that I’ve started to think about more - widespread WiFi causing the end of cellular companies with VOIP and messaging over IP.
Also to note, lovely visuals which must have taken ages to do!

This is crazy, but very interesting. Great execution of visualizing the data - all in html5 and javascript.

Trulia’s Crime Maps is an innovative and proprietary social crime mapping technology that allows consumers to view, explore, compare, interact and comment on crime data across the US. With Crime Maps, Trulia gives consumers hyper-local visibility into the good, bad and ugly dynamics of neighborhoods, enabling them to make better decisions about where to buy or rent a home.
Crime Maps leverages geodata from multiple partners, including CrimeReports.com, EveryBlock.com and SpotCrime.com, who work with hundreds of police agencies, crime feeds and news outlets to create a curated map of criminal activity in many metropolitan areas. Users can view crimes in a specific area, toggle between multiple neighborhoods, and directly compare the crime statistics of two different regions. Trulia also enables users to add insights, comments, and advice via Facebook’s Social Comments for additional context and information on top of the geodata.

Infographic: The Real Cost Of Social Media

A great infographic showing the real value of Social Media.
Interesting facts like Facebook fans of Starbucks, Nike and McDonalds are over twice as likely to but their products than some who isn’t a Facebook fan.
