Singing Christmas Hedgehogs from Birdbox Studios
Loving this little interactive Youtube video set from Birdbox Studios.
This is pretty spectacular on my 27” of screen, let alone actually being there. From September 23 to October 23 at the Lincoln Center in New York, IBM will be displaying 3 immersive experiences explaining how technology and innovation can change the world. Played across 40 interactive screen, if you’re local, surely you’d be mad to miss it!IBM: The THINK Digital Exhibition NYC
The Mill: Projection show portfolio
Production house The Mill have developed their own touch screen projection experience showcasing all their work.
A lovely idea, and a hell of a lot of work.
Definitely one two bookmark!
Trulia - Rent vs Buy debate
Trulia produce some really nice interactive insights, and their most recent one doesn’t fail to impress.
It is the Buy vs Rent debate over the past 8 months in the US and shows exactly how much things have changed with the recent recession.
We need something like this for the UK, and the only guys who seem to come close are those at The Guardian.
Cinemax Strike Back - Superwall Interactive Installation - NYC
In promotion of Cinemax’s first original series, BLT, PHD, Cinemax, and OMA collaborated to concept, design, and install this interactive storefront display at 225 w 34th Street in Manhattan.
Some of the assets used in this are really nice, and looks fairly in-depth. Hopefully they’ll bring one out in the UK I can play with.

Saved by the Bell
A Saved by the Bell interactive youtube game!
There is nothing more to say than awesome. Its addictive, you get the choices that Zack can make at the end of the video where you get linked to another… and another…
But worth a shout.
The Multi-Touch Experience Cube
This is a wicked trade show installation called the “Multi-Touch Experience Cube”.
At first glance it’s a passive visual experience, but once users interact with any of the 23 LCD displays the room comes to life with the LED roof and visual effects mapped to user interactions.
The LCD’s make up a 14m+ touch wall, and allow multiple users to interact simultaneously with any of the screens in the cube. Users can display and interact their content on one screen, or spread them across the entire digital installation.

Konstruct is an investigation into Generative Art in an Augmented Reality environment. It is a sound reactive AR experience for the iPhone that allows the user to create a virtual sculpture by speaking, whistling or blowing into the device’s microphone. A variety of 3D shapes, colour palettes and settings can be combined to build an endless collection of structures. Compositions can be saved to the device’s image gallery.
This is a great use of Google Earth and reveals accounts of Hiroshimas survivors.
It includes photos, maps and other material, together with aerial photos, 3D topographical data, and models as of 2010.
Shame I can’t read Japanese, but for those of you who can, enjoy even more than I did.
The Polyphonic Spree - Bullseye
Their first release of their new album also comes with an interactive iPad app music video which is a character based narrative.
Its such a simple and pretty looking application. Cant help but think they are limiting their fan base though, unless they bring out a non-interactive version.
