Last night at Londons Battersea Power Station, Bombay Sapphire put on quite a projection mapping show.
It shows how a different type of building can lend itself to mapping.
This awesome event is the work of Drive, a London based independent company who specialise in live events.
Following on this post about NuFormer 3D the worlds first ever user generated projection mapping event by Wrigley’s 5 Gum has showed its head.
Internet users were able to create their own projections, and for viewers at the projection to change what happens while they are there using iPads at the show.

3D Holographic Projection Fashion Show - Stefan Eckert
This is amazing, a fully holographic fashion show created by Tim Jockel and Florian Sigl.
I wish I was there to see it.
The question was how to communicate the philosophy behind the new collection of German “Haute Couture” fashion designer Stefan Eckert in a better way. The answer was the world’s first complete 3D holographic fashion show. I teamed up with director Florian Sigl to create the visual concept for the show and how to express the collection within this special medium as best as possible. After shooting with a high speed camera I did all stages of post production, from 3D to motion graphics to compositing.
The result was one of the biggest holographic projections ever which creates a complete optical illusion and breaks the rules of time and space on stage.
